A cheese maker with a full cooler and a slow retailer has a timing problem, not a credit problem. We underwrite the inventory, advance against it, and get out of the way — usually inside a week of the first call.
Everyone who signs off on a loan here has run a plant or a farm. We count stock in person, which is why we can move at the speed the season demands.
We would rather count the pallets ourselves than read a projection about them.
